Director Lamichhane's only desire : Not to assassinate a story

Ghanashyam Lamichhane, who has got 'Special Award of The Jury'' for Movie Agnidahan in 2018 from Film Development Board Nepal.  Ghanashyam remained speechless when he was asked what the director is for a film. Lamichhane said the director is the person who tries his best to make the story real . Story gets life only through the ideal direction so it is the work of director to give life to the story given to him .     

The work of director is not only to shoot but also to provide convincing the audience with visual scenes because sometimes nice story may lack convicing visual .

Lamichhane again says that presentation is also crucial because director needs to have adequate knowledge how deeply the scenes can be presented on the screen . The audiences keep on watching the scenes on screen when they find deep presentation of the story in so smooth way and they always like to mingle or mix them with the events and characters presented in the movies . He again says that the audience want to compare themselves with the actor and actress .

Direction is not as easy as we think. It needs deep study upon the story and its empact upon the society from where the people come to the cinema hall. If the story presentation is smooth and easy to understand, it gets immense popularity even if the movie is not highly advertised .

Lamichhane is now busy in the post production of Chitra set to be released on 12th Paush 2080 look happy when he regards himself as a big fan of Vetran Director Shiva Regmi.

Yet here was his another short answer. Says " I look at the presentation, i look at how deeply the subject has been presented " .  The film "Chitra" directed by Ghanshyam Lamichhane is set to be released on 12th Jan. He is busy with the post production of the film. Similarly he says that he is highly inspired and motivated by Parichhed Sen whom he likes to take as genuine director reflecting new generation.

He has a very straightforward opinion that everyone should have their own style of work. He believes that a directors style depends on a story. Thats the reason he first looks at the story and as per the stories demand he goes with its pattern. 

"Chitra" compelled him to present the story in a different way. 

He was close to reality with his past projects but this time he has paid more attention regarding the creation of canvas along with reality . 

When his style matched the larger canvas "Chitra" was born. 

Lamichhane's previous works like "Dhauli", 'Agnidahan' & "Panchebaja" got lots of fame. Thats the reason he is a renowned director for the industry. Lamichhane is hopeful regarding his film "Chitra" which will be released all over Nepal on 12th Jan. The flow this former teacher has brought to the industry its for sure that the industry will gain alot from him.
