Hindi films in Nepal to be banned unless the dialogue in 'Adipurush' which claims 'Janaki is the daughter of India' to be removed.

Nepal release of the South Indian film 'Adipurush' which is going to be released tomorrow is still in dilemma.

The Film Censor Board had directed the distributors who bought 'Adipurush' in Nepal to remove the dialogue that says 'Janaki was born in India'. The dialogue has been removed from the film after the direction of the Censor Board.

However, now the Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Shah has warned not only in Nepal but also in India that no Hindi film will be allowed to run in Kathmandu Metropolitan City unless the dialogue included in the film is removed. Along with this, the release of the film is in confusion.

Directed by Om Raut, this film tells the story of Lord Ram and Sita. The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.

Balen has written on the social network - "Unless the words 'Janki is the daughter of India' contained in the South Indian film Adipurush is not corrected not only in Nepal, but also in India.

Until then, no Hindi film will be allowed inside the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. 3 days have been given to correct this. Hail Mother Sita.'
