Ranveer Singh is sharing profit with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for 'Baiju Bawra'

Director Sanjaylila Bhansali and actor Ranveer Singh, who collaborated in successful films like 'Ram-Leela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmavat', are collaborating for the fourth time in the new music epic film 'Baiju Bawra'. The film is all set to go on floors in January 2024. Alia will be sharing the screen with Ranveer in the film.

For the film, Ranveer has entered into a profit-sharing agreement with director Bhansali instead of remuneration. According to the source close to the film, "Ranveer is ready to take the film above his stake and work with a master like director Bhansali to any extent. He has agreed to take a token amount as remuneration from the film and reserve it for the rest of the film."

Bhansali is investing all the money to spend whatever he wants. "Business dynamics have changed since the pandemic and the producers have not kept all the money as actor and actress fees. If Baiju Bawra is successful, Ranveer will get his market value,” said the source.
