The Making of the Films is Slightly Less This Year

The start of this year has been a blessing to Nepali Film Industry as the films released initially are doing acceptable business at the box office. However, it seems like the makers are in a dilemma to produce films as the business of the films is not happening as expected.

We can assume that the number of films going to be made this year is very less compared to that of last year according to the release calendar. Around fifty films were released last year but the number seems to be degraded this year.

There is no schedule for film release in the month of Asar and Shrawan. However, there are two films 'Antim Sanskar and Parastree' releasing on Asar 8 and Asar 15 respectively.

There are four films ' Numbari Sun, Jay Ho, Nango Gaun, and Bhagwat Geeta' going to be released in Bhadau. Films 'Pardeshi 2, Padhupati Prasad: Bhasme Don, and Dimag Kharab' are scheduled for Kartik whereas there is no film scheduled to release on Ashoj till date.

Films 'Aincho Paincho, Agastya, and Harswa Dirgha' have started shooting even if the release date of these films is not decided yet.

There are so many film announced such as 'Farki Farki and Baristha Balaram' by Rohit Adhikari, untitled project of Deepak Raj Giri, 'Degree Maila' by Rambabu Gurung, 'Mahajatra' by Pradeep Bhattarai, and 'Hattichhap and Solidoli' by Kiran Nepal. Similarly, Saroj Khanal is preparing a film with Bikash Raj Acharya.

The films can be easily released without creating conflict this year.
