Why was Sunny Leone signed for the film 'Kennedy'?
The director of the film 'Kennedy', Anurag Kashyap has revealed his intention of signing Sunny Leone in his film. In the film, Sunny Leone is presented as Charlie who is being abused by the men of the society.
The film 'Kennedy' was shown recently at Cannes Film Festival. It was praised immensely at the festival and the film got a seven-minute-long standing ovation too.
During a conversation with the media at Cannes Film Festival, Anurag said, "I have never watched any films of Sunny but I have been watching her interviews and while watching her interviews, I noticed a pain in her eyes. I was needing an actress who could give justice to the character of a 40-year-old lady who was being abused by men of 50/60 years. And I got the lady who was carrying all these things within herself."
Sunny expressed that she was overwhelmed by the responses towards the film through her social media handles too.
