Babil Khan won 'Best Debut (Male)' in IIFA

The son of late actor Irfan Khan, Babil Khan won the 'Best Debut (Male)' for his work in the film 'Qala'.

The official page of IIFA posted his picture from the award ceremony and wrote, "The beginning of an incredible journey for Babil Khan as he receives the IIFA trophy for 'Best Debut (Male)' for his nuanced acting in the film Qala."

The actor shared his photo with a trophy on his hand covering half of his face on the story of his social account.

Babil Khan, in the film, shared the screen with Tripti Dimari. The film 'Qala' was released on Netflix last December. However, his role in the film was less than that of Tripti but he managed to showcase his talent in the given time frame.

Let's hope this trophy will give him more power to follow the lane as his father.
