Producer of 'Jaari' files complaint for the piracy of the film on social media
Maniram Pokharel, the executive producer of the film 'Jaari', which is being screened in the hall, lodged a complaint with the cyber bureau of the police on Sunday. He filed a complaint against various Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, and Instagram accounts for piracy of the film. Producer Pokharel has said that he has lodged a complaint against 32 social media accounts.
Long scenes of the film have been posted on social networks. Videos longer than 8 minutes have also been found on YouTube. On the third day of its release, the producers were shocked when the scenes of the film were found on social media. This film is in high demand even in foreign countries. However, when there is film piracy, there may be a loss in foreign demand.
Therefore, producer Pokharel appealed to the Cyber Bureau. He has also requested that those involved in piracy be investigated and compensated.
The film, which was released on Friday, has earned more than 4 crores in 2 days. Directed by Upendra Subba, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Bijay Baral, and others.
