Lisa Dalton, hollywood actress, producer and director suggests nepali directors to work on a good project

American actress, producer, and director Lisa Dalton is currently in Kathmandu. She is here for a 22-day long workshop at Nepal Film Campus.

In the workshop, she taught Nepali directors, producers, and students about the style and craft of filmmaking. According to her, the aim is to spread the understanding of filmmaker Michael Chekhov in Nepal.

Lisa says that Nepali filmmakers can easily make access to Hollywood if they start working as much as projects in any language and of any size. She argued that all kinds of work can help anyone build skills.

She even suggested Nepali makers work on a good story in the Nepali language. She said, "A good thing that has happened in these three years is Netflix and other streaming services that dub the native content in the English language. You can work on a good story in the Nepali language, and even if Hollywood doesn't understand your language, you will be noticed by them when the story gets dubbed into the English language which will help to establish trust within Hollywood.
