'The SuperMario Movie' breaks the box office records

The release of the new Super Mario Bros Movie has broken the box office records. It scored the most successful global opening of all time for an animated film.

Hollywood's second version of the hit Nintendo game, which was a family film, collected 377m dollars around the world in its five days of release. This overtook the previous record of 358m dollars which was held by Frozen 2.

According to the noted analyst David A Gross this animated film can be the #1 flick of this year.

In the Super Mario Bros Movies, the Italian plumber is voiced by Chris Pratt and fire-breathing villain 'Bowser' is played by Jack Black.
