The release of 'Nai Na Bhannu La 6' is postponed
The film 'Nai Na Bhannu La 6' is not going to be released on Baisakh 1.
Producer Sharmila Pandey had filed a complaint against the producer of 'Nai Na Bhannu La 6'. Sanjay Neupane, who is the producer of 'Prem Diwas', had taken money from Sharmila Pandey at the time of the film's release. Sharmila had been pleading with Neupane for money as the money given for film distribution was not collected from the release.
Director Bikash Acharya complained that the board had done injustice to the makers. He said "Sanjay Neupane is not the producer of our film. His name was used as a producer for some practical reasons. The film was not even made under his banner. If the money was used by our team, it would be our responsibility to pay. But the board did not proceed with the censor process."
The Film Development Board has said that they are ready to give the censor, but the producer and distributor of the film are not in touch. The chairman of Film Development Board, Bhuwan KC said that the board has not stopped the censor procedure and the producer can take the censor recommendation at any time. "The board is not a judicial body. It is not the responsibility of the board to manage the disputes between people regarding money transactions. When we receive a complaint, we call out both the parties and hold discussions. The decision will be theirs," KC said, adding, "It is wrong to blame the board unnecessarily in this way. We are ready to give censor recommendations at any point."
Acharya informed that the film will be released within Baisakh on another date. The date will be announced soon, he added.
