'Prasad 2' release cleared, HC refuses interim order
The release of the film 'Prasad 2' has been cleared. The Patan High Court has refused to pass an interim order as per the demand of Keshav Pandey to stop the release of the film.
A joint bench of judges Rajendra Kharel and Bimal Subedi ordered that Keshav Pandey could take other legal means to implement the contract with producer Subash Thapa, but the screening of the film could not be stopped, said Tara Kumar Shrestha, a lawyer at the Film Development Board.
Earlier, 'Prasad 2' was scheduled to be screened on Chaitra 24. However, the film couldn't be released as the High Court issued a short-term interim order on the writ filed by Keshav Pandey.
