Artist Union Election was Postponed, Preparation is being to file a complaint with the Administration.

The election of Nepal Movie Artists has been postponed. The meeting of the working Committee held on Tuesday postponed the election.

The association had prepared to hold an election on the 4th of Chaitra. The election was postponed at a time when the atmosphere of the election was heating up.

Rejina Upreti, vice president of the union, said that she has written a note of dissent on the decision of the union. She also protested the repeated postponement of the election.

According to the source, preparation is being made to lodge a complaint at the district  administration office to hold the election of the association on time. For this preparation is being  made to collect the signatures of the union members.

The members of the union equally get upset about the repeated postponement of the election of the union. The union should have held the election  6 months in advance.
