In the name of Comedy Kedar and Kiran throw crass words to Deepa and Benisha
In the name of comedy is it accurate to use any slang word for women ?
If not, should comedians Kedar Ghimire and Kiran KC apologize to their fellow female actors? This happens during the event of Holi Program which was organized on Monday. However, they are not seen apologizing.
In the Holi Special Program organized by Radio Audio for the promotion of ‘Chakka Panja 4’, Kiran KC questioned Deepa Shree Niroula from the stage, violating her sensitive and personal and private matters.
The host of the Program Radhika asked Kiran,- ‘ If you get a chance to marry any actress Who would you marry ?’
Replying to this, Kiran says- Im overweight as she is. She is also an actress. In Nepal, there is a practice of making love by calling anyone sister. I have called her sister, however, I will marry Deepa Shree as long as I get it. ‘She is gorgeous and still a virgin’….. But I doubt ... He adds, ‘Where the ghee spilled, it spilled on dal……’
The question is- Who gave Kiran KC this right to talk about Deepa Shree on a sensitive topic? Shouldn’t Kiran apologize publicly for this matter ?
Kedar Ghimire, an expert comedian on the other hand too did not care about women's sensitivity. Holding the arms of the program director Radhika Kandel on Monday’s program, Kedar said, ‘We were painted on the upper cheeks but they put it on the lower cheeks’.
Radhika tried to avoid saying that, it was the pant’s cheeks. Kedar also made a rude joke about Benisha, who appeared on the stage after Radhika. He holds Benisha’s hand and rhymes in Nepali, ‘Benisha Hamal Tala tira kamal’.
Following this, he looked at Benisha’s clothes and said, ‘If the wind comes from below, it will blow it away. people will be at Anamnagar and the clothes to the Koteshwor.
Benisha too laugh and tried to avoid the situation. The invitation was not for the roast she adds and wishes them a happy Holi. Comedians who were on the stage without any preparation did not care about the women’s sensitivities and cracked jokes at them and this kind of comedy in every subject must be eradicated.
