Dozens of artist performing on Pokhara Street Festival , get a fair price on ticket from Khalti App

From this year online ticketing has been started for "Pokhara Street Festival" which has been taking place during every English New Year for the past 25 years. 

The festival will proceed from 28th of Dec till 1st of Jan . For the cultural event held at the festival, spectators can buy tickets through "Khalti App". Tickets can be easily purchased online for just Rs.500. 

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the festival , the organizers has made this arrangements to buy tickets online for the first time . According to the organizers the price for the ticket will be higher if its directly purchased from the venue.  

You can also purchase tickets for your family and friends using your International Card on Khalti App. 

In the festival , famous artist and celebrities will be performing for 5 days in cultural event.  Rapper Laure and The Elements Band will perform on New Years Eve hosted by Reema Bishwokarma , while Mukti and Revive Band will be perfoming on 30th of December . 
Similarly, "Oh Amira" and "Manmagan" famed singer Deepak Bajracharya will enthrall the audience on December 30 .

Along with them some famous bands  like Lakshya , The Scratch Journey , Tuki , Black Feather and many more bands and singers   will be performing there.  

REBAN's President Naresh Bhattarai claims that its gonna be more special this time as its the silver jubliee of the festival and he will spare no effort to make it sucessful as the slogan goes "Sadak mai khau Sadak mai ramau'  meaning to eat on the streets , enjoy on the streets  whereas tourist visiting Pokhara can enjoy the event and foods from different community. He said that people  who will be visiting Pokhara will get full entertainment during the festival as there will be various added events this year along with Boat Racing , cultural tableaus from different communities, concert, fireworks etc. 

This festival has been playing an important role in the development of tourism in Pokhara . The festival has been equivalent to Tourism in Pokhara . The fact that its been running for 25 years  is the proof to this , said Bhattarai.  Swornim Entertainment and Ad Sathi will be managning the cultural Program . 

Along with cultural and musical programs, you can taste 20 different cusines in the fair. As its the Silver year of the festival  Aarati and Shiva Tandav will be performed from Hallan Chowk to concert venue. according to Head of Concert Shreedhar Poudel , 'These events will give cultural and religious experience to foreign tourists.'  

Cultural tableaus, cusines, musical programs are different compared to past years . We are ready to entertain the visitors on New Year's Eve keeping the shortcomings in mind we had in past years , he said. 

The vice-coordinator of the fair Bhaibhav Poudel targeting the youths has made sure to include Volleyball, Boat Racing, concerts and various entertainment programs in the festival. 

This year, the festival targets to have 8 lakh people participating in the event.
