Singer Robin Tamang passed away

Robin Tamang, a famous rock singer of Nepal has passed away this evening. According to the source the demise of Robin's  was due to a heart attack. His elder sister Bhagwati Tamang has confirmed that he died at Budhanilkanth home.

His body has been kept at the teaching hospital for post-mortem. He died at the age of 60. Robin was born in 1963 in Singapore. Since Robin's father was in the British Army, he spent his childhood in 5 different countries.

Robin spent his childhood in Hong Kong, Singapore and Brunei. He returned to Nepal in 1996 and started working in Pokhara, his father's birthplace. After this, he joined a rock band named Loja. Robin's band named Robin and the Revolution' has quite a fame in the industry. He, being in this band, has given many songs to the music industry.

Robin's albums like 'Keta Keti , Hamro Desh Nepal have been released. Similarly, the songs sung by him like 'Thikai Chha, Patan, Mero Maya, Maya Deu Dhoka Nadeu, Maila Bhai, Keta Keti, Kalpana, I Can Hear, Free World, Dum Maro Dum, Virata Chino' were super hits.

Robin has also acted in some films. The film 'Chadke 2' in which he acted was released last year.
