Three films competing on Baisakh 15

Three films competing on Baisakh 15

Three films 'Jaari, Bihe Pass, and Bulaaki' were released on Baisakh 1. Among them film 'Jaari' has done immense business at the box office and the film 'Bihe Pass' somehow managed to raise the investment, whereas, the producer of the film 'Bulaaki' has dragged his film down the halls on their own. The producer of 'Bulaaki' revealed that they had to do so because the film was not given enough shows by the hall owners.

The film 'Jaari' is still in the halls and not only in Nepal. It has created the same hype in foreign lands too and has been doing good business. Now, from Baisakh 15, three films 'Nai Na Bhannu La 6, Prasad 2, and Kaidi Ko Patra' are going to release. The promotions of these films are not noticeable but because of the brands, the audience seems to have their interest in the films 'Prasad 2 and Nai Na Bhannu La 6'.

After the success of the film 'Prasad', producer Subhash Thapa made 'Prasad 2' with director Sudarshan Thapa. While the previous director Dinesh Raut said that 'Prasad' does not need a sequel, producer Thapa has taken the risk of making a sequel.

'Nai Nabhannu La' is a hit series in Nepali films. Even though its latest version did not do business as expected at the box office, the producers are not at a loss from this film. The writer and director of the film, Bikash Raj Acharya, introduces a new face in each film and sell his brand. We can see the same pattern in the series of 'Nai Na Bhannu La'.

This time, the release of 'Prasad 2' and 'Nai Na Bhannu La 6' together has been seen by many as a matter of prestige. Also, 'Prasad 2' was ready for release on the 24th of Chaitra last year. But after a case of financial embezzlement was filed against the producer Subhash, the screening of the film was stopped. The film got a new chance for release after the Patan High Court ordered that the film's release should not be stopped. The film 'Nai Nabhannu La 6' was also slated for release on Baisakh 1. But this film also got into financial trouble and reached Baisakh 15.

Due to the success of the previous versions, the filmmakers and the audience are equally curious about the box office collection of these two films. It is yet to see who is going to rule at the box office.
