Inspecting success, what may boycotters think about Deepika?

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s movie ‘Pathan’ was released on 25th of January. Before its release, there was a common protest of the movie and the reason was the dress patched by Deepika herself.

The orange color worn by Deepika in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ was protested by BJP party supporters of India. They used the color of the dresses as an excuse.

Some BJP leaders even threatened to cut off the nose of Deepika. There was widespread opposition to the movie however it benefited the movie team rather. The movie starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has set the record for the highest collection in the history of hindi movies. The movie is still hitting the floor with a net collection of 521 crores in HIndi language itself.

Despite facing a protest in India, she went to unwrap the World Cup FootballTrophy held in Qatar and it became a strong slap to the boycott gang. Instantly,as a Program Director, Deepika attended the world famous ‘Oscar Award’ held on Monday. She spoke on stage about the song ‘Natu Natu’ from the movie RRR.
Deepika has endured criticism and boycott within her country whereas the popularity she has gained outside India is tempting in itself. She is seen representing India on famous stages worldwide.
